About the Thrift Shop
Founded in 2013, our Cancer Connection Thrift Shop at 375 South Street is in a large, open, sunny space with lots of convenient parking. We offer high-quality, gently used clothing, jewelry, home goods, books, and more at affordable prices.
A knowledgeable, customer-friendly staff led by manager Christine Quinn and a cadre of devoted volunteers will greet you. Stop by and see why our thrift shop has been named the best-used clothing store by the Valley Advocate 6 times.

It’s up to you! Masks are now optional for customers and staff.

Yes! We have three unisex dressing rooms that can be used.

We have a schedule each month that is posted on our website, facebook, and on our outgoing phone message.

We accept cash and credit cards/debit cards.

We take a wide range of items, if they are in saleable condition. We have a handy reference list posted on our Donation Guidelines webpage. We also welcome phone inquiries for out of the ordinary items.
Donation Guidelines
Thank you for your generosity! 100% of our profits go to Cancer Connection and we gratefully accept donations on designated days each month. Please check our donation days listed above.
If you have a large amount of donations, Please call us at 413-587-9999 or email us at thriftshop@cancer-connection.org.
PLEASE never leave donations outside our doors when we are closed! It makes our work much more difficult.

We are able to accept donations of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, vintage clothing, shoes, housewares, jewelry, home decor, antiques, small furniture, art and more. See the full list below:

Items that we regretfully cannot accept
We must turn down some of your donations for one or more of the following reasons:
Too heavy, large, costly for us to handle.
Hazardous materials that could create danger in the workplace and would be costly for us to dispose of. We cannot accept donations that would put our volunteers at risk i.e. containing mold, animal droppings or hazardous materials.
Experience tells us we will not be able to sell it in our store.
Existing and new laws have made these items a health and liability risk
