The Cancer Connection website is an information website primarily with an on-line Thrift Shop store ecommerce site. Cancer Connection provides links to allow users to find Cancer Connection’s Facebook page and Cancer Connection’s Thrift Shop Facebook page and to PayPal if they choose to donate on-line or purchase an item in our on-line store. We do not offer user accounts on our website and users accessing third-party sites via links on our pages, log into their OWN accounts, if they choose to. Cancer Connection does not have access to their personal account information. We do not collect individual data on website users who continue onto third party sites. We may collect aggregate data on the number of users who click through links on our site to determine what is of most interest or helpful for us to provide links to.
E-mail Communications
From time to time, Cancer Connection may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication. In order to improve our Services, we may receive a notification when you open an email from Cancer Connection or click on a link therein.
If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional communications via email from Cancer Connection, you may opt out of such communications.
Individuals who purchase items from our Thrift Shop on-line store, will receive emails regarding order confirmation and pick up instructions. Those emails are required to complete their purchase.
