The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Information, resources, and support for blood cancers including leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma. They offer peer support, online chats, nutrition consultations, and information about clinical trials, to name just a few of their offerings.

The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF)

Information, resources, and support for individuals with multiple myeloma. They offer peer support (myeloma mentors), educational programs, financial assistance information, and a clinical trial finder, to name just a few of their offerings.

National Bone Marrow Transplant Link

Helping patients and caregivers better understand and deal with the emotional and practical aspects of bone marrow/stem cell transplants and post-transplant concerns They offer on-line and phone support as well as other resources.

Cancer House of Hope

The Cancer House of Hope offers support groups, relaxation programs and information to people with cancer and those who care about them. Located in West Springfield in a home-like setting. Cancer House of Hope is wheelchair accessible.

Highland Valley Elder Services

A private, not-for-profit corporation that promotes “Quality Long Living” for elders in twenty-four communities in Hampshire and western Hampden counties of western Massachusetts.

Located in Worcester, MA, the Women’s Image Center’s mission is to to assist women undergoing image changes related to their cancer treatments, by promoting confidence and well-being with their products. The Center offers Post-Mastectomy Bras, Breast prosthesis, 3D Custom Prosthesis Technology

Northampton Neighbors

Cancer Connection is proud to partner with Northampton Neighbors!

Membership in Northampton Neighbors is 100% free and open to all.
NN offers a range of services, support, and social opportunities for older adults in the area. Some services like household help, transportation, and neighborly visits are for members ages 55+ who live in Northampton, Florence or Leeds;
Becoming a member is easy (and free!).

National Cancer Support


CancerCare.org

Information about cancer diagnoses. They offer support through online and phone support groups, an option to chat with an oncology social worker, and cancer education workshops. They also offer information about financial assistance resources and a variety of publication topics.

American Cancer Society

Provides educational and supportive services including the “Road to Recovery” program (rides to medical appointments) and “Look Good, Feel Better” for people living with cancer.

Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered (FORCE)

Focussed on the lives of individuals and families facing hereditary cancer. Force provides expert-reviewed information to help people make informed medical decisions including genetic testing and clinical trials for hereditary cancer. They also offer on-line support and peer support referrals nation wide.

Association of Online Cancer Resources (ACOR) LISTSERV

A great place to connect with others who have a similar diagnosis and treatment regimen. ACOR has been discontinued as a non-profit organization, but a number of the affiliated cancer mailing lists continue to remain active thanks to ongoing access to LISTSERV services donated by L-Soft international Inc.

Baystate Regional Cancer Program
