In the Present with Chelsea Kline: The compassion that flows between us

I was a nanny for a sweetheart toddler named Aenon. Equipped with a tiny plastic watering can and rugged gardening gloves, he would buzz around his father’s garden, generously dousing nearly everything green.

Aenon’s “helping” took a toll on some of the more sensitive plants, water-logged roots begging for a respite from the deluge. I gently tried to redirect, but he was set on helping to care for the garden, aside from the soggy side effects.
