Laura Carboni, Center Director
Leadership for a new phase.
Laura brings a rich and varied professional background to her work at Cancer Connection and is delighted to serve in a role that draws on so many of her skills and experiences. Her career has included many years in the nonprofit sector, teaching yoga, running her own restaurant, and becoming an End-of-Life Doula. After first joining Cancer Connection in an administrative capacity, she followed her heart into the role of Befriender, offering compassionate, one-on-one support to participants.
Now, as Center Director, Laura is deeply honored to bring more than 22 years of experience organizing workshops and retreats to the development of meaningful programs, support groups, and integrative therapies. She is passionate about creating welcoming spaces where participants feel supported, connected, and cared for.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys tending her tiny farm with her husband, where they grow flowers, herbs, and vegetables.
