2019 Best of Valley Advocate logoOur Cancer Connection Thrift Shop at 375 South Street is in a large, open, sunny space offering high-quality, gently used fashions for women and men, jewelry, home goods and books at affordable prices. It is a well traveled area with convenient parking. A knowledgeable, customer-friendly staff led by Nancy, our professional manager, and a cadre of devoted volunteers will greet you. *Stop by and see why our thrift shop won #1 Best Used Clothing Store in the Valley Advocate 2019, 2018 & 2017 Readers' Poll as well as the 3rd Best Local Green Business each year!

With over 1,100 active participants and ever-increasing demand for our counseling, support groups, integrative therapies, classes and workshops, we want to ensure that the focus of our nonprofit center remains on programming and strategic fundraising to expand our vision rather than on fundraising year after year for our basic operating budget. The solution? A thrift shop that will bring in a stable and consistent income while offering the community a meaningful community service, a “green” business, an indulgence for the fashionistas in our midst, a solution to overstuffed closets and basements, and a fun opportunity for our volunteers.  Our goal is to have a tremendous resource that will allow us to expand our programming and bolster our long-term financial stability as a nonprofit in an era when charities compete for limited grants and donations.
